PeerJ — publication fee waivers

Limited to one waiver per submitting author per year. Academic editors and reviewers are not told that a waiver has been requested, which keeps the editorial decision separate from the ability to pay. A separate one-time waiver exists for co-authors who were undergraduates at the time of the research.
