About

Wiley waives the publication fee in full for authors in Ghana. Taylor & Francis gives them half. Same author, same paper, a difference of a thousand dollars — and neither publisher mentions the other. This site records what each one publishes, so you can see it before you submit.

Who runs JournalFees

JournalFees is a free reference directory of article processing charges and waiver policies, run by a small private team. It is not operated by or on behalf of any publisher. It carries no paid placement, and publishers cannot pay to be listed or ranked. How JournalFees is funded, and which services are paid.

How the data is kept up to date

Each figure is checked against the publisher's or journal's own page and shown with the date it was checked and a link to that source. Publisher-confirmed corrections are applied and re-dated. We re-check sources periodically and whenever a publisher notifies us of a change. Publishers that have confirmed or supplied their source pages: Pensoft (October 2026), Royal Society Publishing (October 2026).
