How many journals does Wiley publish?
Depends on how you count. A 2024 university libguide gives 1,300 hybrid journals plus 600 fully open access. A 2024 consortium agreement gives 1,318 hybrid + 586 fully OA = 1,904 total in its scope, but that excludes 260 Hindawi titles that Wiley still owns. The number depends on the list you're reading.

Hindawi complicates things
Wiley acquired Hindawi in 2021. The 260 Hindawi journals are typically excluded from Wiley's own transformative agreements, though Wiley owns them. If you count Hindawi, add several hundred. If you don't, you undercount by that much.
Society journals add more
Wiley publishes many journals on behalf of learned societies. These may or may not appear in the main portfolio counts depending on the source. Some society journals are listed under the society's name, not Wiley's.
The practical answer
Wiley publishes 'about 1,900 journals in its main scope, plus 260 Hindawi'. For your submission, what matters is whether your specific journal is in the scope of any coverage or agreement — not the total count.
